AWAN is led by and for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander women. We are the only state-wide Aboriginal Women's Advisory Network in Australia.
AWAN is made up of secretariat/project team, who all share a vision and purpose to reduce, and ultimately end domestic, family and sexual violence within our communities across NSW.
As a mechanism to drive Aboriginal-led policy and decision making, we endeavour to empower women through employment opportunities.
AWAN are looking to develop a dynamic team to build on the network over the next few months, to work towards it becoming an independent organisation.
We are currently recruiting for a Data Officer to join our team.
This role will be conducted remotely (working from home) with requirements to attend the office space in Marrickville, NSW for staff meetings. Travel will be required for face-to-face stakeholder meetings, community visits and consultations, as needed. For clarification, please contact us.
Data Officer
AWAN are currently seeking expressions of interest for an
experienced Data Officer to join our team on a full-time
basis, 35 hours per week. Fixed term contract commencing April 2025 -
March 2026. The position may be extended after this period,
if funding permits.
